General Description
Psychologists specialise in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of individuals, couples and families who have difficulty coping with their life or work situations due to various psychological or/and medical issues (e.g. stress, relationship problems, addiction to alcohol and gambling, diabetes, pain, cancer).
Psychologists in the healthcare sector may specialise to become clinical psychologists or neuro-psychologists, who provide psychological assessments (e.g. of intellectual functioning, brain functions, personality), psychotherapy (individual, couple, family or group), or rehabilitative therapies (e.g. memory retraining) to patients. They often work very closely with psychiatrists, other medical specialists and health professionals to develop and implement treatment programmes that aim to reduce the emotional distress and enhance the psychological well-being of patients.
People in this occupation assess, diagnose and treat individuals, couples and families, help to alleviate the emotional distress and enhance the psychological well-being of patients.

Types of Psychology

Might want to be a Forensic Psychologist cause if twt works as the forensic scientist, then we can be in the same department ? LOL.
